DIP Headers & Mating sockets
Through-hole headers and sockets for DIP interconnect applications.
Available in standard and custom configurations.
DIP SMT Header (004)
DIP TH Header (008)
DIP Socket – Gold Shell / Gold Contacts
DIP Socket – Tin Shell / Gold Contacts
DIP Sockets (DS Series)
The DS Series DIP Sockets are designed to mate directly with DH Series DIP Headers or accept standard DIP-lead devices. These sockets provide a serviceable, rework-friendly interface for applications where repeated insertion cycles and footprint compatibility are required. DS Series sockets are commonly used in programming adapters, test fixtures, emulation hardware, and production replacement assemblies. Open-frame construction and multiple pin count options support a wide range of DIP-based devices.
DIP Headers (DH Series)
The DH Series DIP Headers provide a robust pin interface for connecting DIP-based circuits to mating sockets, adapters, or external cabling. These headers are footprint-compatible with standard DIP layouts and are suitable for both development and production environments. DH Series headers are available with SMT-to-through-hole or through-hole pin configurations and support open or closed frame styles. Stackable insulator options allow flexible mechanical integration across a range of applications.

Designed to Work Together
DH Series DIP Headers and DS Series DIP Sockets are commonly paired together to create modular, serviceable interconnect solutions. This combination is frequently used in programming adapters, test fixtures, emulation hardware, and production replacement assemblies. Both series share compatible pin spacing, footprint geometry, and stackable insulator designs, simplifying integration into existing PCB layouts.
How to Order
