The 16-Pin SOIC to DIP Adapter .250” Plug Version helps engineers convert a 16-pin, 0.3” wide DIP layout into two surface-mount SOIC plug outputs. This adapter offers a fast, reliable way to work with SOIC layouts that use a .250” tip-to-tip spacing.

This kit includes one DIP base board and two plug modules. The DIP board has a 0.100” pitch and works with standard through-hole sockets. Each SOIC plug uses a 0.050” pitch, making them easy to solder to typical SOIC footprints.

To ensure strong electrical connections, the adapter includes a machined-pin LIF socket. This socket allows easy insertion and removal of ICs without using tools. As a result, it is a good choice for both short-term testing and repeat use.
