The 40-Pin SOIC to DIP Emulator Adapter Board .600”, model PA-DSO-4006, is a top board designed to convert 40-pin SOIC devices to a standard 0.600” wide DIP format. Featuring a Low Insertion Force (LIF) socket, this board supports easy IC insertion and removal, making it ideal for emulation, prototyping, or test environments.

This modular adapter is sold as the top board only, allowing it to pair with compatible 40-pin SOIC plug modules through 0.050” pitch contact pads. Supported plug part numbers include:
PA-SOF-D470-40/2 and PA-SOF-D560-40/2.

Engineers can reduce replacement costs and extend system life by swapping only the DIP board rather than the complete assembly.
