The PA51-DP and PA51-DP-PP are part of our 8051 Emulator Adapter series, engineered to convert 8051-family microcontrollers from a 40-pin DIP layout to a 44-pin PLCC footprint.

This adapter provides a reliable solution for bridging legacy or development-phase 8051 devices to PLCC-based systems. It features 1:1 signal mapping, a machined-pin socket, and a narrow-body profile to support high-density or gang-style board configurations.

Choose between a ZIF socket for ease of development or a LIF socket for long-term or production installations.

ZIF Socket (PA51-DP):
Recommended for labs, firmware development, or test stations where ICs are frequently swapped.

LIF Socket (PA51-DP-PP):
Designed for stable field use or embedded applications with minimal handling requirements.

Both options share identical electrical routing and DIP footprint. Each version includes 0.018” round DIP pins for secure mechanical contact in standard through-hole sockets.
