PA550-DP-PP – 40-Pin DIP to 44-Pin PLCC Emulator Adapter (Intel 87C550)

Overview

PA550-DP-PP is a 40-pin DIP to 44-pin PLCC emulator adapter designed for the Intel 87C550 microcontroller.

It interfaces a 40-pin DIP 87C550 device to a 44-pin PLCC emulator socket used in development and legacy system validation.

The top interface is a 40-pin DIP socket on 0.100″ (2.54 mm) pitch.
The bottom interface is a 44-pin PLCC plug compatible with standard PLCC-44 emulator sockets.

This adapter does not use 1:1 wiring. Signal routing follows the 87C550 DIP-to-PLCC pin relationship as defined in the wiring table. Power and ground pins are duplicated where required, and defined pull-up connections are implemented.
